The City Traffic Engineer reviews all requests for traffic control devices from citizens and developers and prepares a report with recommendations to the City Traffic Commission, which meets monthly. The Traffic Commission's recommendations are then forwarded to the City Council for final approval. The maintenance of traffic signals are performed by Computer Service Company under contract to the City. The Traffic Engineer manages this contract.
