The Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance and improvements for all publicly owned streets, storm drains, traffic signals and other traffic control devices, parks, median islands, City owned slopes, and facilities. The Department manages the solid waste and recycling programs as well as the City’s Storm Water Program.

Public Works has 15 employees and uses contractors for street, park, landscape, and facility maintenance. The Department uses consultants for design work.
